our goggles & guns (go) website provides a printable form for submitting the required documentation. in addition to the atf approved images of the firearms being imported, the submitted forms also include a photograph, drivers license and vehicle registration if applicable. once all the required documentation is submitted, you will receive an acknowledgement via email and/or mail indicating whether atf has approved the request for a new serial number. if approved, atf will then issue the unique serial number to your attorney and/or your duly-authorized agent.
